Twitter Weekly Updates for 2009-04-26
- Twiddling my thumbs, eagerly anticipating @Tweetie for Mac… C’mon already, it’s monday, and we’re burning daylight here!
# - Whoa – the #L4D DLC is going to be released TOMORROW?! Egads – I seriously didn’t know that, I thought it was going to be this weekend… :O #
- My main gaming machine’s ethernet cable just failed, no L4D for me. Anyone got a 15+ meter ethernet cable you want to lend me? Please? :’( #
- Tweetie for Mac AU $21.90 – http://tinyurl.com/cpv7d5 (thanks to @retroper)
# - Tweetie for Mac 1.0 has the same bizzare RT syntax that Tweetie for iPhone had – instead of RT @user, it’s (via @user). UGH! #
- Tweetie Mac Gripes: RT syntax. No notifications. Cannot see both username and real name at the same time. Otherwise not bad for a 1.0, haha! #
- Hmm, the internet seems to have died for no apparent reason. I wonder if it’s just me – nothing on my network works, but DG834G says all ok? #
- FFS, I do _NOT_ have time to diagnose stupid network issues. Now modem is saying that no DSL connection is available… *cries* Sleep it is. #
- Internet is still down. Internode’s connection between Melbourne and Tassie is pretty crap, TBH. Activate the basslink already, dammit!! #
- Epic poster sale at Uni is epic. Anyone used http://www.bluedogposters.com.au before? Are they any good? They seem to have awesome posters.. #
- I’d probably play more L4D if there weren’t so many douchebags on the Aussie servers. However, I’ve met some damn nice people as well…
# - Catching up on my tech news for the last couple of days. I’ve been slack and not read them for a while now, so there’s lots to go through… #
- Chances of seeing L4D DLC tonight? Slim to none, I’m afraid. :’( #
- Site of the day: http://domai.nr/ who will help me find my own custom URL shortening service. I <3 WordPress plugins: http://bit.ly/PeDC2 #
- WHAT’S THIS?! 1:23pm PACIFIC TIME IN THE US AND STILL NO L4D DLC?! FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU…. #
- Spotted outside UTas. The person who did this has now achieved +1 awesome, and cred from me. http://twitpic.com/3qs0o #
- public boolean left4Dead();
{
if (home time == l4d)
{
return true;
}
else { return false; }
}// I do hate Java. Meh. #
- Off to Uni via Hobart. I really do lessthanthree 11am starts ^_^ #
- Awesome! 2 hour lecture was canned due to the lecturer being sick, now it’s off to work so I can earn some moolah to feed my tech addiction. #
- I was just reading out an email address to someone on the phone. They asked if the domain was all one word… Seriously, WTF. #
- The Hit List had a support position going – they found someone “exceptionally qualified”, though. Man, I’d work for those guys for free. #
- Wow. Grocery shopping with parents; I’ve never actually noticed how many different types of coffee there actually is. I don’t drink coffee. #
- Awesome poster is awesome. ^_^ http://twitpic.com/3tloq #
- qTweeter fails for me – it chucks a “Connection failure” if I use a secure password. Deja vu? Tweetie, I’m looking at you… #
- Bus was 3 minutes early this morning.. Makes catching the bus when you’re running late an exercise in fustration, lulz. #
- Just realised I have work to do for Programming and Problem Solving. If The Hit List had an iPhone app I wouldn’t have forgotten this fact. #
- Can not get enough of Lostprophet’s album “Liberation Transmission”. Just ‘cos it’s a little old doesn’t make it any less awesome. #fb #
- Staying up extra late tonight because I’ve missed out on doing so for the past two years, because of 9am starts at work the next day. ^_^ #
- In true ANZAC sprit, I’m going to spend today killing other people (and zombies) online. Don’t get me wrong, though – Lest We Forget. #
- is eating the very last Chupa-Chup from Year 12 camp, back in March or April 2008. It still tastes okay, I guess. #fb #
- Unfortunately, I have lots of work to do today. As usual, it’s stuff that I’ve neglected during the week, but now has to be done. Epic meh. #
