New iPhone 4 user here. Question: in the info bar on the top of the phone screen, what does the padlock with the circular arrow around it mean (moreso the arrow)? Is this an iP3 or 4?

Hey Geoff,
The padlock with the circular arrow means that the iPhone’s rotation has
been locked in portrait mode.
You can access the portrait lock by double-pressing the Home button and then
swiping to the right — which should give you a rotation lock, some media
player controls, and the icon of whichever app was playing music last
(usually iPod).
That particular screenshot is from an iPhone 4, but you can access the
rotation lock on any iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4.
